Larch poles


Casollalegno specializes in the production of natural poles made from larch wood for use in external projects such as: gates, fences, avalanche barriers, special uses in agriculture, environmental engineering,and environmental restoration...

Our Sawmill in Trentino uses a modern system for rounding logs to produce perfectly cylindrical poles. Our purpose is to produce completely ecological poles with a diameter of 6 to 20 cm.

The intrinsic characteristics of the larch allows the use of a natural exterior, causing a high resistance to atmospheric agents, which could normally only be achieved by impregnation in an autoclave. The larch grows in areas that have very difficult climatic conditions and where plant growth is very slow. This presents growth rings that are very closely spaced, giving the wood a high density, mechanical resistance, and a special resistance to atmospheric agents.

Upon request we can produce custom poles made from natural larch.

Other than larch wood, poles are also available in douglas fir, or Pine wood.
