Choosing our timber means opting for an environmentally responsible product that guarantees outstanding performance.

Information on Wood Cracks

Wood cracks are natural phenomena and do not indicate poor material quality. Wood is a living, hygroscopic material that undergoes dimensional changes and may develop cracks without compromising its strength or durability. Shrinkage cracks are actually a sign of proper drying and do not negatively affect the performance of the wood. These phenomena, especially present in heartwood, are normal and acknowledged by European technical standards. Wood remains the most natural and sustainable building material.
