PEFC

This certification is based on three key principles: compliance with European forest protection standards, regional or group-level application, and third-party independent inspections. It ensures that the raw material used originates exclusively from sustainably managed forests.

ISPM-15 FAO

The IPPC has introduced the FAO’s ISPM-15 standard to prevent the spread of forest diseases through wooden packaging. The regulation requires that raw wood used for packaging intended for non-EU markets undergo certified phytosanitary treatment. The wood must reach a core temperature of 56°C for 30 minutes, with monitoring and certification before applying the IPPC/FAO marking. The Consorzio Servizi Legno e Sughero ensures the enforcement of the regulation and the approval of treatment facilities.

CE Marking

Our sawmill in Trentino offers CE Marking for structural solid wood with rectangular cross-sections, in compliance with UNI-EN 14081:2006. This certification confirms that the wood meets the essential requirements of EU Directives, ensuring safety and respect for health and the environment. CE Marking allows the free movement of the product within the European Union.
